Mescal Alipús*

100% Agave · 42% Alc./Vol

These white mescals are young and daring, bottled immediately after the second distillation, allowing the innate flavor of the roasted agaves to be appreciated.

The objective of the Mescal Alipus project is to present and classify the individual personalities of 3 mescals according to the place of production and plant species.

Characteristics: clear color, fresh flowery aroma, good body, earthy and smoky flavor, with distinctive green plant flavors.

The 3 varieties of Mescal Alipús indicate the village of origin:

San Juan del Rio
in the Sierra Norte region.

Santiago Matatlán
in the Central Valleys region.

Santa Ana del Rio
in the Sierra Norte region.

Salvador "Chava" Flores, Compositor, Cd. de México, 1952.

"Look, Bartola, here's two pennies, pay the rent, the phone bill and the electricity; then take your wage and keep the rest for a wee nip"
